This paper presents, for the first time, a critical edition based on three manuscripts of the Coptic translation of the conclusion of Epiphanius of Salamis’ Epistula ad Arabos. Following a brief introduction, in which the author outlines the history of the identification of this Coptic text, the paper provides a summary of the content of Epiphanius’ Epistle and describes the features of the Coptic translation in comparison with the Greek original. The paper also includes a description of all three manuscripts that preserve this text, along with a diplomatic edition of each. Additionally, the author conducts a comparative study of the texts as preserved in these three Coptic manuscripts, discusses the history of the Coptic translation’s publication, and explains the guidelines for this new edition. Finally, the paper offers the first critical edition of the Coptic text, accompanied by an English translation.
