This contribution, dedicated to Dante's 'Purgatorio', is divided into three parts. The first part analyses the development and interweaving of political discourse and metapoetic discourse in the second cantica of the 'Commedia'. The second part focuses on the exam of Canto VI and the reasons for the presence of the Mantuan troubadour Sordello in the Antipurgatorio. The third part is dedicated to illustrating and highlighting the several references in Canto VI to the political poetry of Guittone d'Arezzo. The author's thesis is that, in the imperial perspective of the sacred poem, Dante intends to combine the individual, noble and courtly values of valour and worth, celebrated by the troubadours, with the civil and collective values of justice and peace promoted by the poets of communal Italy.
Il contributo, dedicato al 'Purgatorio' di Dante, si articola in tre parti. Nella prima parte si analizzano lo sviluppo e l'intreccio di discorso politico e discorso metapoetico nella seconda cantica della 'Commedia'. Nella seconda parte ci si concentra sull'esame del canto VI e sulle ragioni della presenza nell'Antipurgatorio del trovatore mantovano Sordello. La terza parte è dedicata all'illustrazione e alla messa in rilievo dei numerosi riferimenti alla poesia politica di Guittone d'Arezzo presenti in 'Purg'. VI. La tesi dell'autore del saggio è che, nella prospettiva imperiale del poema sacro, Dante intenda armonizzare i valori individuali, signorili e cortesi del 'valor' e del 'pregio', cantati dai trovatori, con quelli civili e collettivi della giustizia e della pace propugnati dalla lirica comunale italiana.
