English Acinetobacter baumannii is an emerging human pathogen causing nosocomial and community-acquired infections. Here, we present the complete genome sequence of the clinical A. baumannii strain R2090 carrying the metallo-β-lactamase gene blaNDM-1 in its chromosome within the transposon Tn125.
