Thomas Aquinas defines the “person” in terms of ‘nature’ and ‘subsistence’ (subsistence as a mode of existence). This analogical definition of the person offers a solid foundation for a consistent account of the divine persons (Trinitarian theology, Christology) and the human persons (anthropology).
Thomas d’Aquin définit la “personne” en termes de ‘nature’ et de ‘subsistence’ (la subsistence comme mode d’existence). Cette définition analogique de la personne offre un solide fondement pour rendre compte, de manière unifiée, des personnes divines (théologie trinitaire, christologie) et des personnes humaines (anthropologie).
