"Das ist doch ein Engel dort hinten, oder?" Religiöse Symbole und Motive in populärkulturellen Erzeugnissen erkunden.

English French German In their everyday life, young people encounter religious symbols and motifs in films, series, advertising or games. This contribution presents a teaching unit which, based on the LUKAS model, practises the recognition and investigation of religious symbols and motifs in popular cultural products with secondary school students. The teaching unit was carried out in a 10H (8th grade) in the subject Ethics-Religions-Community (ERG) of a secondary school in a 10H (HarmoS – 8th grade) class in the subject Ethics-Religions-Community (ERG) of an orientation school in the canton of Fribourg (Switzerland) and in an 11th year course in the subject Values and Norms of a high school in Hanover (Germany). Les jeunes rencontrent dans leur vie quotidienne des symboles et motifs religieux dans les films, les séries, la publicité ou encore les jeux vidéo. Cette contribution présente une unité d’enseignement qui s’appuie sur le modèle LUKAS et qui propose d’identifier et d’exploiter avec des élèves du secondaire 1 des symboles et des motifs présents dans la culture populaire. Cette unité d’enseignement a été mise en œuvre dans une classe d’Éthique, religions et communauté de 10e année HarmoS dans le cadre d’un cycle d’orientation du canton de Fribourg (Suisse) ainsi que dans une classe de Valeurs et normes de 11e année dans un gymnase de Hanovre (Allemagne). Jugendliche treffen in ihrem Alltag in Filmen, Serien, Werbung oder Games auf religiöse Symbole und Motive. Dieser Beitrag stellt eine Unterrichtseinheit vor, welche in Anlehnung an das LUKASModell mit Schüler_innen der Sekundarstufe 1 das Erkennen und Erschliessen von religiösen Symbolen und Motiven in populärkulturellen Erzeugnissen einübt. Die Unterrichtseinheit wurde in einer 10H (8. Klasse) im Fach Ethik-Religionen-Gemeinschaft (ERG) einer Orientierungsschule im Kanton Freiburg (Schweiz) und in einem Kurs des 11. Jahrgangs im Fach Werte und Normen eines Gymnasiums in Hannover (Deutschland) durchgeführt.
