English Giovanni Conti († 1332) was Archbishop of Nicosia and one of the major commissioners of artworks in Medieval Cyprus. The article deals with an embroidered textile now preserved in the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo in Pisa, which according to an inscription was sent as a gift to Pisa Cathedral by Giovanni Conti in 1325. By means of a technical, iconographic, and stylistic analysis the article points out that this artwork is the only hitherto recognized representative of the famous Cypriot textiles known as "de opere Cyprensi".
