Since the redox state regulator glutathione (GSH) influences lipopolysaccharide (LPS) anorexia, we studied the roles of tumour necrosis factor-alpha (TNFα) and nerve growth factor (NGF) in the GSH response to intraperitoneal (ip) LPS injection in mice.
