We have studied the ground-state phase diagram of a spin ladder with alternating rung exchangeJ<sup>n</sup><sub>⊥</sub> = J<sub>⊥</sub>[1 + (−1)<sup>n</sup><sub>δ</sub>]in a magnetic filed, in the limit where the rung coupling is dominant.
