English German This paper derives from ethnographically informed research. From the perspective of Laclau and Mouffe's theory of hegemony, it is shown how culturally specific singing in constructed as a norm in music classes to which certain values such as intonation and ambitus are linked and from which other values such as flow or phrasing are banned. Moreover, in the researched culture of music education, "the song" is constructed as the only culturally specific element, but this concealsthe cultural constitution of the formerly mentioned values. This perspective makes it possible to understand cultures no longer as social facts but as constructs of one's own culture. For this reason, the paper also makes suggestions for a culturally sensitive music education. Dieser Text speist sich aus einer ethnografisch informierten Forschung. Aus der Perspektive der Hegemonietheorie von Laclau und Mouffe wird gezeigt, wie im schulischen Musikunterricht ein kulturell spezifisches Singen als Norm konstruiert wird, mit welchem gewisse Werte, wie beispielsweise die Intonation und der Ambitus, verbunden und von welchem andere Werte, wie beispielsweise der Flow oder die Phrasierung, verdrängt werden. Überdies wird in der Logik der Kultur des Musikunterrichts "der Song" als das einzig kulturspezifische Moment konstruiert, wodurch aber die kulturelle Konstitution ermöglicht es, Kulturen nicht länger als soziale Tatsache, sondern als Konstrukt der eignen Kultur zu sehen. Deshalbwerden im Text auf dieser Grundlage auch Überlegungen für eine kultursensible Musikpädagogik formuliert.
