The proceedings of the Swiss National Conference for German Teachers document a selection of contributions from this biennial professional event. AkDaF and Ledafids, the two Swiss associations for German as a Foreign Language (GFL) / German as a Second Language (GSL), which connect teachers and researchers in the field of German as a foreign and second language (GFL/GSL), cooperatively organize the conference. The proceedings, published as a series, provide insights into current developments and challenges in, and innovative approaches to the teaching and learning of German as a foreign and second language. It features lectures and practice-oriented workshops facilitated by teachers and practitioners, experts in didactics and pedagogy, as well as (applied) linguists. Each volume of the series focuses on different themes and targets teachers, students, and all those interested in learning about recent developments and established methods in German as a foreign/second language education.
