Nous interrogeons les objectifs que peut avoir la NG sur le plan grammatical. Faut-il se contenter d’une utilisation circonscrite dans la perspective de la maitrise d’un socle orthographique commun ou peut-on envisager la perspective d’une maitrise améliorée de la syntaxe qui ne nuirait pas au socle orthographique mais avec le bénéfice d’en savoir plus en grammaire ? If we consider that doing an exercise involves practising something or putting something into practice, then negotiating spelling is a spelling exercise. We examine the possible objectives of negotiating spelling with regard to grammar.
